Hooray for a new grandaughter! This is IVY. She is beautiful!!
And I got to spend Monday through Friday with my Kids in Washington!
I had the best time! Jen got the duty of driving me around but she has these secret fantastic parks that aren't far from her home for Owen to play on and just a few steps away are ocean beaches.
Owen dutifully gets his sunscreen on...and Jen had packed a fantastic lunch. Even the birds liked it. They took crackers right off our table!

Ivy was the best baby. She slept, but you can see how comfortable she is with her mom. Jen walked everywhere with her little papoose.

Thank you, Jen, for spending time with me and sharing your favorite places and letting me get a glimpse of your life. I now know why you love it there so much. Thank you for sharing your dreams and your kids and some sunshine!

Jen is amazing...she found this beach that had shells littering the shore. I have never been to a place that I didn't have to search and search for a shell. I was as excited as the kids about collecting shells. I was sad I only had two pockets.

As you can see, we didn't have to look too hard for shells. Jen, you are the seashell wizard!

Here is Ben and Kelsey's house! It is darling and Kelsey has decorated it so cute! It was good to visit with both of them. I love them. And I'm sure if I don't mention their dog Sadie, she would be sad. I love Sadie too!

Ang took a half day off work and came with Ben (who also took a half day off) and Kelsey. We took the day and went to lunch and then to these beautiful falls. I'm not even going to try to spell the name of it.

We all got together for a dinner and I got to hold this little one. She is adorable and such a good baby!

A few more pictures before Jen takes me to the airport... and I can leave with a smile on my face knowing my kids are happy. Thank you Ang and Steve for letting me stay in your house and for your hospitality and your Oreos. I'm sure I ate more than my row. Thanks to Kelsey for all your hard work to make your house shiney. I know you worked your butt off and I appreciate it and love you for it. And thanks to Jen for your love and patience and for most of all, making my trip wonderful! I had a marvelous time and I hope to come visit soon. (Maybe the first of the year??) And may I say you all make me a very proud mom!
